Variegated Roses?

Hi:
I was brainstorming ideas for future plants (just day
dreaming, I'm not a plant hybridizer). Has anyone ever
heard of a variegated rose plant? I can just imagine a rose
that would have beautiful foliage even when it wasn't in
bloom.
What do you think? Wonder who I should suggest it to?
