In bloom in western oregon

I have several large oriental poppies, about 4 years old, giving their
all right now. In shades of orange and coral, they are planted by
Tropicana roses and amongst lambs ear.
I also have cerinthe a good hot area plant, re-seeded from last year and
about 3' high.
Still have bearded, pacific and dutch iris, foxglove and nicotania, in
shady areas there are still some bleeding heart and forget me not.
My entire bed of cutting roses gives me more than I have vases for this
year! I especially like the David Austin and Golden Showers.
Rhododendrons and azaleas are still flowering and I'm very glad I picked
several different ones to span the growing season. Need to do that with
iris next year.
The orange 'ditch daylilies' (want some???) are blooming in sunny areas
but the other lily plants are tall but not yet ready to bloom.
The few cannas showing are only 1' tall and I am very disappointed.
This is their 2nd year, they were well mulched and supposed to be hardy
here but so far there is not much show at all.
I'd like to send these back..grumble grumble...
I'm glad I did complain to Jungs last year about the poppies "Pattys
Plum" that I bought. They credited me my charge card for the dried
lumps I was sent.
I went ahead and planted them and nothing has come up at all.
Lots of weeding to do!
