Darrell Probst is the epimedium king of the US. Here is his webpage. I have
never grown one single epimedium, don't know why. You may be seeing more of
them now as more articles are being written. I alway filed this in my head as
a dry shade plant and that is as far as I got.
Probst, who lives in my neck of the woods, has been smitten for years and is
the authority on epimedium. If you come this way, you can visit his garden.
Not everything comes from the West Coast, nearly all, but not everything.
