Re: Lantana as perennial; plus definitions


What about hardy annuals?  Those that germinate in the fall/winter and over 
winter and bloom in the spring and summer.

I think the main focus of this group is herbaceous perennials, those plants 
that "die down" so to speak in the fall and return in the spring.  This is a 
wide group of plants, with some species being true perennials but other times 
and locations they might be biannual or anneals.

Being in Minnesota I do not have a hard time figuring out what is a perennial 
and what is not, but in the tropical zones like 7 or father south it is a 
little more of a judgment call.
