I was reading an old (1993) issue of Fine Gardening yesterday that a friend gave me. In it, an article mentioned NOT planting tiger lilies near any other types of lilies because of a virus they carried that affected other lily bulbs causing them to dwindle and die.
Is this still true? If so, how far away do the tiger lilies need to be from other types of lilies? (I just bought a collection of tigers last fall and planted them throughout my garden, so you can imagine my concern!) Thanks.
