Funny, I've been to Weston several times; shrubs and trees are great;
I was less impressed with the perennials. Timing maybe?
Blanchettes in Carisle is great - love them!
Mahoney's is good; but seems to depend on which one you go to.
Hands down favorite - Mixed Border in Hollis NH - very near Nashua
and the MA border. If you stay on RT130 in Hollis, there are two more
- farm stands with plants. One always has a great selection on
heirloom tomatoes.
Other real goodies - in Greenland NH (nearer the coast) are Garden of
Eves and Rolling Green.
Ok - Sophie and any one else in Northern MA, NH or VT - shall we try
for a garden center trek.
