Hello Claire,
My partner, JoAn, got tired of my moving a C.recta purpurea around in
the holding area and took possession. It is in a very large decorative pot
at the corner of a stone path..... her first question this year was how do
you divide one of these things? Too hard to keep watered in the pot last
year during summer. They are good performers. Need to cage to come up inside
to look decent, IMHO. JoAn uses a copper tower in a fake clay pot.
