Being a bit of a sucker for variegated or yellowish plants, I came
across a variety of Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens) called
Buttered Popcorn.

Is this Creeping Buttercup likely to become a Leaping Buttercup? I'm
hoping its variegated nature will restrain it a bit.
Thought I better ask before I plant it and All Hope is Lost.
