Re: Agastache


I should add that all most all the Agastache will bloom in less than ten 
weeks from sowing, they grow fast and bloom for a long time-easy to grow from 
seed too.

They may not be a hardy perennial were you are located but that's no reason 
not to give them a try.  The two complains I hear about these plants are that 
they attract bees and butterflies and they will self seed around.  But the 
self seeding is not horrific and the small plants are easy enough to remove. 

I like Agastache mixed in amongst my Hosta,  since the Hosta grow 2-3 feet 
tall and the Agastache flower around 3-5 feet tall.  It looks nice to have 
the blue flowers of the mints above the large leaves of the Hosta.
