Re: Agastache


I have the purple variety of this seeding all over the place.  While
not as bad as Cleome, it manages to show up pretty heavily, but is
easy to pull, with the added bonus of the fragrance.  I should think
a white flowered form of this would be more attractive than the
purple, which isn't very showy in my book.  I've not seen hummers at
it, either.  IMO, attracting bees is not a bad thing for flowers...

Mine is growing where it gets some latish sun but is sort of clear of
tree canopy overhead - not as much sun as it would like, but enough.
