Same species more or less just regional differences.

The too species are:
 Rhus radicans- with gray-white fruits, which can be a climber or a  
spreading mat.
The above plant is called Poison Oak or Poison Ivy

and

Rhus toxicodendron -- with yellow-white fruits and a shrub like growing habit 
growing up to 2.5 feet tall.  Called Poison Oak by many.

Both the above have three terminal leaflets on long stems. Which should not 
be confused with ivies that have five or more leaflets?

A shrub called Poison Sumac is Rhus vernix- which can grow up to 12 feet 
tall. It has grayish-white fruits.  7-14 leaflets per leaf.
