Hi all. I'm away from home, visiting friends up in zone 3/4. I know this isn't a perennial question but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. They have a birch, planted in '99 that seems to be not right. There appears to be "rings" under the bark and maybe a few pinholes. Also, looks to be weeping in a couple of spots. We went to a garden centre last night and they told us to use cygon. Can anyone suggest where we can look for help? Or any idea what the problem might be?
Just to keep this legal, re my bluebell problem earlier, it appears that the nubs I saw were maybe a hosta. For sure no bluebells or uvularia. Darn!!!
Thanks, Lillian, zone 5
