Yes, I think it is a Perilla, based on web pictures. Yes they are easily
pulled out, but when they are everywhere and so many of them.... The
first year I actually saved some seeds....HA! Came back
everywhere...like a 100ft away from the original plant... from the
backyard to the front yard... across a forty ft pond, everywhere! Year
two, I left a couple of them, but as soon as the flower(?) seed stalk
came up, it got snipped before it could set seeds... every year since
then, they are pulled out before they are two inches high... so where
are they coming from 5 years later?!? Anyone know the timing viability
of the seeds? Gees.....
