I don't know about * your long story, but personally I do all my
gardening in rainy weather. Yeah, it's muddy, but weeds come out
easier, it's easier on flowers you've transplanted and easier on me
too since I'm on meds that make me sun-sensitive. And even without
meds I'm like one of those little blind cave fish. Me and sun do *not*
get along.
Hm. Maybe that's why most of my garden's shade stuff?
