Re: Fringed Yellow Loosestrife "Firecracker'

Thanks Don and Theresa,
I feel much better. I just love the colors in the foliage, and as a beginning
perennial gardener, I WANTED something that would exceed my expectations rather
than stay puny, like most of my stuff did last year (the first year.)
I am pleased to say though that most everything that I planted last year did
come back. My problem now is, I don't know what some of them are. I have
learned from last years mistake, and now keep a very detailed journal and maps
of all the beds, so I have a chance of knowing what's what, and how I should
treat it.
This is the first year in my adult life that I have not been employed full-
time. How I used to moan about 8 hours a day, and now I work in my gardens and
yard from sun-up til sun-down, yet somehow it doesn't feel like work. I'm
addicted, I know. But I'm enjoying it so much. Just wish the kitchen were in
the back yard. How I hate going in there, but can't seem to talk the family
out of this "gotta eat every single day" routine.
Thanks for all the great input.
