If you pick it (gingerly) before the flower finishes blooming, you may be in luck. I let one or two seedlings go to flower every year - I love it's other worldly appearance. In a message dated 5/26/2003 7:10:01 AM Central Standard Time, cherylisaak@adelphia.net writes:I had been wondering where this lovely little fern came from in my shadeor the love hate relationship I have with teasel - could it please set a few less seeds and not hide so well
garden when the second summer someone told me it was teasel and advised me to get
red of it immediately or I would deeply regret it!!! Well, I did. Now I have
another one and am wondering if I can't keep it until it starts to set up the
stalk. What do you think? I was kinda sorry I got rid of the first one b/c I
liked it so well and thot I would see if I can live with it until it sends up a
seed-head. Do you think I will regret it?
