Ammonia and chlorine bleach in a toilet will go "boom," I've always heard.
Only if you toss in a lit match or a cigarette.
But - the two will make you pass out; the combination used to be called housemaid's high.

 I think we've found a way to get rid of weeds coming up between the
 bricks around the pool:  ammonia!

 My husband puts it in a sprayer and makes everything smell like--you
 know what.

 But the dandelions die off, and maybe even the grass will, after several
 applications.

 Anyone heard of this before?  And is there any reason not to do this,
 like the ammonia and the chlorine from the pool water mixing somehow and
 making a deadly chemical?
