The mystery is solved!

This is, in fact, Ranunculus ficaria 'Greencourt Gold'. Or at least it
matches with the photo from Heronswood's old Web site.

I remembered last night that since I was their Webmaster for six years,
I had copies of images of all of the plants that they sold. Looking
through the image collection confirmed that it is 'Greencourt Gold,
or at least the same plant that they sold as such.

For those who are curious, it's a non-aggressive clumper that has spread
about 2.5" in diameter per year. Right now it's about a foot wide.

Thanks!

Chris
