Does anyone grow Darmera peltata? Info on the net says it should be waterlogged / does not tolerate waterlogged – which is it? I’ve grown it for a couple of years in soil in shade, not particularly successfully, probably because it’s not consistently moist. The real question here is: Depth. I have it planted on the surface of the soil, much like you would an Iris rhizome. Is that right? I can’t seem to find soil planting depth on the internet. I have found “in artificial standing bodies of water, the planting depth is at 5 centimetres.”, but nothing about depth on soil. Any ideas? Kitty |
