Re: Trying to stimulate conversation!

Following up on Margot's message, we just returned from spending the
month of April in Spain, Portugal, Morocco and France. Some of our
travel through Spain, and all through Portugal & Morocco, was on a bus
tour, and I was very frustrated when I couldnt stop and photograph
plants I saw! Everywhere at the roadside I saw rather short, red
poppies. Would those be Papaver Atlanticum, which I read is native to
Morocco? I wonder if I could find any of those to plant? I was
surprised at how lush and green northern Morocco is. I did get some
pictures of lovely plants in the Madrid Royal Botanical Gardens.

My tulips were starting to bud when we left, but we had so much snow and
cool weather, they are still blooming! Now I am ready for warmer
weather, so I hope it quits raining soon!
