Now I know what the differences are.
Have you heard of a Geranium 'Samobar'?  I think it is a psilostemon,
but am not positive.  If I recall correctly, it blooms longer than the
species.
It was another batch that I was offered, and took.  I'm a tip-over for
most any geranium and add this one to our batch of 20 or so varieties.
