Sandy,
The spray is made with non sudsy ammonia and water. 1/3 ammonia and 2/3 water,
put in a spray and give the slugs a few shots and they die. Within a few days
they have completely dried up and disappeared.
I try to avoid spraying special plants but so far nothing has been damaged
and we
have lots of slugs. A neighbour phoned last night to say her husband had
killed 2000 slugs in 3 days.
