Lambs Ear is easy to transplant. Just rip out a piece of it with a runner
attached and toss it in a shallow trench and cover it up. It spreads by
runners (and seed) and it can be invasive in areas that get good water. I am
going to put some in an unwatered site (dedicated to white/silver) flowers and
foliage in the woods and see how it does! It has short spikes of small violet-
magenta flowers... rather like an Allheal (Prunella), but with fuzzy silver
stems. There are cultivars that do not flower, but I like the extra plants
that I get from the self seeding flowers.
Blessings of the Maying Season!
