Re: Wisteria


Be forwarned!!  Wisteria for me is a rampant "volunteer"  It is in full sun,
and grpows like a weed.  It blooms on last years growth so because I
constantly cut it back, I had a magnificent bloom this spring. ( later feb,
early mar).  Now however, it's taking over my tomatoes and I have to cut it
back every two weeks or so.  

I have whacked the understory and am interested in plants to grow there but I
bet that as soon as I water, the wisteria will move in.  So I'm still thinking
about that.
