Re: Bleeding Heart


I identified with the moving of the Bleeding Heart - I also moved mine after it
bloomed and in fact have moved it twice through the years, obviously leaving
behind a bit of root each time. Now, I can trace where it has been by the plants
left behind and thriving. 

One place had a Carolina Allspice shrub planted over it and since it is late to
leaf out, the Bleeding Heart has time to bloom among the shrub stems and then
the shrub hides the dying summer foliage - a happy accident.
