Re: Plantings for Orienetal Poppies
Thanks to everybody who replied. I am considering my options T thought
about using mums and I have some very healthy verbascum seedlings that I
started this spring the Asiatic lilies, Phlox paniculata, and anemones are
still other options. As I was just writing this I just thought of perennial
Hibiscus as yet another option. I have a couple of poppy plantings so I
guess that I will try a couple of different combos. Unfortunately I can't
bring myself to grow Solidago even the dwarf forms reminds me weeds despite
it's late bloom. I guess that there is just too much of it growing on the
roadsides here in Western MA. I guess That this is a personal preference
like in the recent thread on Queen Anne's Lace.
