Craig,
One thing I did with my girls was to "give" each her own flower bed and they
loved it. I still do most of the weeding but they are very particular about
what they want. They are allowed to pick one perennial each whenever we stop
at a nursery. Last year the littlest one's bed looked the best in the whole
yard<G>. They also each have one tree that is their's alone and then
whenever we add more they can "adopt" if they wish.
