Hi Nan,
I've grown Withania somnifera and, frankly, it's not much to look at.
Small, bushy plant. Medium sized,finely pubescent leaves (like their
relative, the petunia). Small, greenish yellow flowers, followed by red
berries, about 1/4 in in diameter. It seems to have some favor among the
ethno-botanists, but not sure quite why - I suppose the "somnifera" gives a
clue.
