Mertensia virginica (Virginia bluebells, although some are pink -- could
pretend she has pink-eye :)
Phlox divaricata (Wood phlox)
Aquilegia caerulea
Allium caeruleum
These are the only light blue plants that I can think of. Don't
know of anything greenish-blue, though, unless we start getting
into foliage. Some of the green plants have a glaucous coating on
them that makes them more blue or blue-green; certain hostas, rue,
and corydalis come to mind.
Regarding common to scientific name sources, I don't have any better
ones.
