Oriental poppies

When we moved to this home, the bed alongside our garage was filled with
oriental poppies. This is a key garden, so had to move them - too short a
show. Our property backs on to a greenbelt, with a small creek running
down the lot edge. I dug up all the poppies, divided roots, and planted
sporadically along the greenbelt side of the creek. A terrific show when
they are blooming, and all the wild growth easily camouflages the poppy
leaves when they're dying. We do not disturb mother nature, but believe
this one plant has added to her beauty. And, gotten them out of my
gardens!
