I have really big plants this year of the 'Sunny Border Blue'.  I also love
the 'Red Fox' which looks smashing next to lime green lady's mantle and
backed by a purple monarda.  I like veronica because I don't have to do
anything special to them.  They are in amended clay soil, full sun, no
supplemental watering unless we go through a drought period.  I must
confess that I don't know the secret of keeping them this way.  All of the
plants in my garden must be able to fend for themselves pretty much.  I
coddle nothing.
