I have the book and am actively practicing many of the techniques she has
recommended. However, I find that many others in my area have this
difficulty. I've pretty much given up, as I want these things to look good
mid-summer. Spring and fall have their own share of beautiful perennials.
I've been gardening quite a few years. These felt-leaved plants are just
ill-suited for my neck of the woods. Why is it that I always want the very
things I cannot have? Sigh...
