This is exactly what has happened to me time and again, until I wised up.
I couldn't understand why I'd lose so many gallon pots but the 2 inchers
would succeed. I sure could have saved myself some $$$ if I'd known this.

However, shrubs seem to be the exception to this for me -- is that what
happened in the research too?
