Just wanted to let you know that I've contact the Horticulture Magazine for
you. The gentleman that has always been so helpful is Jake Lifson. I cannot
locate where I put the "source" books he mentioned so I have emailed him to
ask for a list of them. Once I received them I will surely share this
information with you and everyone on the list.
If you are not a subscriber to Horticulture Magazine....it is certainly one
to look into. They seem to cover every part of the USA eventually and they
are very informative and inspirational. The best part about the magazine is
that they are not really expensive....initially it was $26 dollar for the
year and then at christmas they came out with a special for 2 years for $26.
So far they have run that special for 2 years straight.
Anyway - as soon I get the information I will pass it along. I know you said
you might have already found a source for your double whites.....but if in
the future you are looking again (which I know as a gardener I'm ALWAYS
looking) this will help you.
