Dying Daffodils

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. All
things considered, I guess I'll do what I've always
done and just wait them out. I can't overplant as you
suggested, Mary, because I have such a dense mass of
bulbs that the flopping greenery would shade them (
the annuals) completely. My bulb gardens are really
gorgeous when they are in bloom. They are the biggest
mix-up of flowers you ever saw, but I planned it that
way. The daffs and tulips and hyacinths are all
planted amid masses of siberian squills, grecian
windflowers, corydalis, star flowers etc. In other
words, the smaller flowers serve as a carpet for the
larger ones. Of course the problem arises when they
all finish blooming and start to die back. the
squills, hyacinths, tulips and grape hyacinth are all
cleaned up by now but the daffodils and grecian
windflowers hang around for a long time.
I don't trust Martha Stewart..she intimidates me!
