Yum, Jeanne, that sounds fantastic. What about starting annuals (or
whatever) in big pots, have them already blooming, and then arranging
them over the mulch to fill the space with color as soon as it clears?
I've gotten much more happy with pots since I started using the hydrogel
crystals that hold water and keep me from having to water so often.
