Devon, i root all my azaleas in my green house, just at whatever the temp.
is out side of course i root in spring,or start them in spring, i have had
some to root in late summer and i just pot them up and leave in green
house, bear in mind my *green house* is just a small fiber glass building, for
me to play around in,I put three bougenvillas in the ground in it last
fall, thinking they would die, well they put on leaves this spring and growing
like crazy, the only heat i had was four heat bulbs,I have a friend that owns
a local [mom and pop] nursery here, she said it would be a miracle if they
survived, the lowest temp. we had wasin the lower teens, pretty cold but i
only lost my ferns out of all i had in there,Didn"t mean to go on like this,
but you know i think sometimes a lot of plants are a lot hardier then we
think.
