Re: Hollyhocks and other things


Do not take this a definitive answer, but Hollyhocks are so strongly apical 
dominant, that I would not cut them off.  I do not believe this will cause 
them to Branch and give you more flowers.

You might want to try removing the stems about 6 inches off the ground in the 
spring to force a second, smaller set of stems.


Lets see if any one has had more experience with cutting the tops!?
