introductions that will be available for retail sale this coming spring.
Evidentally, there has been a lot of recent work in hybridizing
hydrangeas, and several wonderful new ones are forthcoming, including one
called the Swan that is a hardy lacecap type but with the sterile florets
FIVE times the size of the standard so the petals droop down like swan's
wings. There was a picture of it on the wholesaler's site and it was a
beauty.
Anybody else heard of new things to watch for?

Hello,
The American Nurserymen magazine usually has articles on new plant material
in their late fall early winter editions. You might want to pick up a copy if
you get one.
