Alyssum cuneifolium:
"Dwarf Alyssum" (a-LISS-sum) A short growing Alyssum-useful in a rock garden. Plants grow 3 to 7 inches tall and 5 to 8 inches wide. They have attractive gray-white foliage and stems with large, soft to bright yellow, mustard like flowers. Blooms in late spring-early summer. They should be grown in well draining sandy loam soils that hold some moisture. Full sun to light morning shade. native from the Mediterranean to Bulgaria. Use in a scree bed or in sandy to gritty loam that is well drained and dry in winter. A small gem for a collection of small plants. Sow at 65-75ºF, if no germination
in 4 weeks, move to refrigerator for 4 weeks. then back to 65-75ºF for germination in one to three weeks. Keep seed medium moist but NOT wet. Zones 6-8 but this is only a guess-they maybe hardier.
