Re: salvia for shade/combos


Hi Kemberly,
    I have a Chinese witch-hazel out there now that is absolutely
breath-taking. Solid mass of gleaming gold. I had forgotten about the
foliage color this past summer when I planted a few Aconitum beneath the
tree when something else had died. Wow! The blue of the monkshood and the
gold of the witch-hazel......  on either side are fall blooming anemone... a
silver-pink to the right and a white on the left. Sure is making for one of
the best shows in the garden this year.
