Re: delphinium seeds


Well, Paul, forget 'Pacific Giant' in the muggy Mid-Atlantic states. 
Did try D. elatum and managed to lose it in this summer's drought. 
Will try it again one of these days..  Think that our hot, muggy
summer nights are not something that these plants relish without an
incredible amount of babying, which I never seem to be able to get
around to doing.  Whatever different genetic material Terry is using
seems to make a difference, tho' I think my friend did a good bit of
hand holding with her plants to get them to perform for her..at least
they did!

I start out with the best of intentions when it comes to a plant that
needs extra TLC and then, something always happens and it passes from
my mind for a few weeks and when I remember it again, it is too
late:-(  Have learned that I need to stick with the tough guys:-)
