Cut flowers

Another plug for a local (almost) nursery:  the Terra Ceia bulb farm sells
cut bulb flowers in the spring (and peonies, and maybe some others that
aren't actually bulbs).  They ship them in ice packs.  VERY seasonal
(obviously); VERY good deal.

So are their bulbs--a bushel (400) daffs, mixed, for $65.  (they offer
several mixes but are sold out of all but their naturalizing mix this
season).  Bushel of mixed peonies, $125, approx. 100 plants per bushel.

No website yet; call for a catalog if you still have time to plant (sorry,
Claire).  My bulbs won't go in the ground until after Thanksgiving, and
actually, some of the daffodils are sprouting already.
