Having lived in North Eastern Maine for a while, there
are tomato varieties that are very short season- and
there are a seed company from New Brunswick that
specialized in short-season plants. It's been years,
so I can't think of the name off the top of my head.
But I actually got ripe tomatoes grown in large pots
on my deck when I lived there.
