This has been a spectacular autumn for my garden too! Had some blooms on my
climbing and carpet roses into early November, and the gaillardia finally
just gave up. I have a very cool chrysanthemum, no idea what it is (since
my husband bought it as a Mothers day present from the grocery store) that
has been blooming it's heart out. It won't bloom until it's been frosted
then just keeps going for months. It's lavender with a greenish yellow
center. I look forward to it every year. The cut flowers last for almost a
month in a vase.
Anyone have grand plans swirling in their head for next year?
I just read the article on witch hazels in the American Gardener mag. They
sound great. Anyone grow any?
Monica
