Re: premature muscari

Further to the premature muscari story, the plot thickens.

I grow a lot of muscari in 1 and 2 gallon pots. I started several years
ago with about 10 bulbs. I kept watering them after they bloomed to let
the leaves making food for the bulbs. The leaves stayed green all
summer long, went dormant for maybe 2 weeks in fall, and then sent out
new leaves for the winter. It is an amazing plant. Now I have tens of
pots with hundreds of bulbs and they keep multiplying and growing to no
end.

So, keep watering them and they will reward you with lots of flowers and
continuous growth for more than 11 months every year. I live in
Northern California, zone 9 USDA/14 Sunset.
