Re: What is still blooming in Zone 5 and red clay
I live in Imperial and near the quarry on Highway M. This is a new yard
for us and we were struck with how many rocks are lurking under the soil.
The house is new construction and there are some spots that are too low
and need some topsoil to avoid that swampy marshy situation. There are
some sinkholes in the front yard around the water meter. We planted
trees first thing and plan to put in other plants in the Spring. We just
want to see how the lawn settles before digging anything else up. We did
put a row of yews across the front of the house. They are upright
Hicksi Yews and will put silver mound in front as an accent. Do you live
in Eureka or Fenton?
