RE: Oakleaf Hydrangea

Oakleaf hydrangea grows easily and quickly from seed. I think that I got
mine from the American Horticultural Society's seed exchange. Just about
all the seeds came up, so I gave most of them to a plant exchange. They
grow about a foot the first year and more quickly after that. You won't get
a special selected variety from seed, but you'll still get those beautiful
leaves and interesting bark.

More people should grow this shrub if they have the space, so get the
seeds, sprout them, and give the extras to all your neighbors.
