Thank you for Posting about metacrawler. I don't use that search
engine but now I think I will try it after hearing about your
experience.
As far as photos and search engines go, you might try the Lycos site
at http://www.lycos.com/picturethis/ . Sometimes they can have
graphics and photos that you can access through their links and they
can't even be seen at the website that they are in the directory of
yet. I'm not sure how it is done but there are a large amount of
Hosta photos from a Hosta farm in Milan Illinois (just next door to
Rock Island where I live) that they don't have on their site but are
stored with their ISP and can be accessed through Lycos.
