Oh, BTW, speaking of good books...FYI - A while back there was some
discussion on the list (a long while back) about the American Horticultural
Society's A-Z Gardening Encyclopedia. This book normally retailed somewhere
in the 90+ dollar range, and Barnes & Noble put it on sale from time to time
for about 58 or so bucks.
Well, while on a COSCO run (our equivalent to Sam's Club), I found it this
weekend for 38.99. Whew! What a dandy book!
Just a note for anyone needing some excellent reference books. I do wonder,
however, why this volume was so cheap... Is it because it's "last year's
version", and a new "improved" volume is out?????
